 Key responsibilities:

  • Overall oversight, management and planning of ASV’s IT infrastructure
  • Working closely with employees in the UK, US and Brazil to resolve technical issues
  • Maintain a secure IT environment against common threats
  • Manage technical projects to improve and extend the infrastructure and respond to business needs
  • Day-to-day maintenance and planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance and upgrades
  • Commissioning and repairing IT equipment
  • Ensuring the integrity of automated backups
  • Input to budget planning

Requirements:

Essential

  • Substantial experience managing a Windows domain environment
  • Experience with Windows DFS server management
  • Management and administration of Office 365 and Azure AD
  • Experience with VMWare EXSi and SAN storage arrays
  • Excellent knowledge of networking, firewalls and switches, IPSec and SSL VPN, VoiP phones
  • Ability to diagnose and fix hardware issues
  • Ability to assess, maintain and improve IT security in line with industry standards
  • Quickly diagnose and resolve problems with a determined attitude
  • Forward thinking and a self-starter
  • Well presented, motivated and practical
  • Able to work flexible hours and to travel when required

Desirable

  • Microsoft Certified Professional, CCIE, CCNA qualifications
  • Experience with VEEAM and V-Centre
  • Experience with MS SQL Server and Sage
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services
  • Experience with managing Linux (CentOS) servers
  • Administration of web-based tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience with automated commissioning and provisioning tools
  • Experience with very large storage arrays and data management
  • An interest in robotics and unmanned vehicles
